Hi,
I am trying to upgrade the Oracle Database from 9i to 10G. I'm planning to use the DBUA tools to perform this. What happens to the index or views that I've created in Oracle 9i? Does it automaticly rebuild? If I have an applications that using Oracle 9i as their database, what is the effect of upgrading the Oracle database? Must I also modify the applications?

Thanks,

Nothing is done.

SQL execution may change

You have to deeply test them before.
