hello mates,
i've been trying to install oracle 9i database 9.2.0.1.0 in my system. It runs on windows xp sp1.
im just following the oui wizard..everytime i install, it stops right at the screen
Installing Enterprise manager minimal integration
copying oracle_ice5.jar
i tried atleast 3 times with diff type of installations.
std installation
enterprise..but no go
it stops at the same screen and no go further
can anybody help me.coz im desperate about this..i need to prepare for intvws..

Your server should have sp2 by now. I hate the answer 'it works for me' but it does. Do you have the system requirements available on your server? Are you having some sort of problem caused by installing it multible times? Is oracle_ice5.jar available on the install disk or download? How long do you wait? jar files usually take a long time to unpack(I guess they are packed) and use.
