Hi all,
I need help with using oracle metalink. I just got account in it, I am looking for the patch to upgrade the Oracle client machine from 9.2.0.1 to 9.2.0.7.13. I have the cd for ORacle client 9.2.0.1. I want to install the client on windows xp. But when i clicked on the patches and advanced search, i typed in ORacle client 9.2.0.7.13. It came up with different ones, but i dont see any of it for windows xp.
Also, do I have to install the client first and then apply the patch??? Do i have to run something to apply the patch???
Please if somebody could tell me the steps or how to proceed, I will appreciate it.

Hi,
I am trying to find out the latest patch number to upgrade oracle client 9.2.0.1 to 9.2.0.7.13 on windows xp. I couldnt find in metalink either. Please if anybody knows please let me know. Also, i would like to know the steps what i should do inorder to apply the patchset after installing the cd for client 9.2.0.1.

click the TAB labeled "Patches & Updates" near the top of the main page.
Click "Quick Links to the Latest Patchsets, Mini Packs, and Maintenance Packs" & then naviguess to what you need.
