Hello

When i use the command shutdownm immediate and i try to connect using conn system/sysdb a@orcl, connsys@orcl as sysdba, also i try using pfile to connect, but the respond is
ERROR - ORA-12514: TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor .

check whether your listener is listening to connections for your instance.

Use "lsnrctl status" and find out.
