Hi,

You want to Know about Dump folder.
like
1.bdump
2.udump
3.cdump

the above all folder used to tracing for oracle database.
1.bdump :> Background Dump.
2.udump :> User Dump
3.cdump :> Core Dump

where any background problem occur then with bkground name trace files generate in bdump folder.
and Most important file "alert<sid>.log" file generate in bdump folder.

some like bdump, udump used for User Error. and user error occur or if user enable sql_tracing then Trace files generate in udump folder.

cdump > used some like bdump or udump for Oracle Error.

when you say file=c:\test.dmp , oracle will logically export the data into a proprietory file called test.dmp.
You need to do nothing.
Never edit/write anything into this file.
Only the imp utility is allowed to read this file and import into another database.
