Hi all


We h've Application that is working fine with Oracle9i
My manager asked me Test the Application by porting with Oracle 10g,and he told me that Certify the Application with Oracle10g

In fact this is the first time for like this scenario

Here my question is

1.What is the Certification testing?
2.How to follow the rules
3.How to certify the product with Oracle 10g

What are steps involved, I have make a documents please some help me on this issue

For theoratical definitions, you should probably ask these questions to a Q/A or software/ process engingeering or Testing person/forum.

I believe your 'manager' just asked to test the functionality of application against the 10g database.

upgrade/migrate the 9i database to 10g (just a test. so do it in a different box/environment).
Make the application to talk to this sandbox.
test all the functionality/performance and your business need.
