I tried an update of the database-server from 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.2 and all went fine except that I got more than the 42 "allowed" invalid objects.

Docu says:
When the 10.2.0.2 patch set is applied to an Oracle Database 10g Standard Edition database or Standard Edition One database, there may be 42 invalid objects after the utlrp.sql script runs.

https://updates.oracle.com/ARULink/Readme/process_form?aru=8251421&no_header=1#CJAIIGJG

I got 54 invalid object, before the update, all objects were valid. I didn't find a hint in www or metalink, which objects may remain invalid or what to do with more than 42 invalid objects.

My invalid objects are attached.

System is a RHEL 4 x86_64

Any suggestions?

It is NOT a hard rule. Actually it depends on the options you use.
Try to compile those views again.
If you are not using them (or those options), ignore them.

OK, I hope you're right Smile

I checked all invalid objects, they are all related to OLAP-stuff. Recompiling of them failed.
