I'm using Windows 2003 Server with LivePage enterprise. When i go to establish a new connection to the Oracle Database (using: Oracle Express 10) I receive the above error message. I've checked my registry under HKLM\SOFTWARE\ORACLE but there is no subkey with the name NLS_LANG. However under the subkey KEY_XE and within its listings on the right there is a REG_SZ string named NLS_LANG with the value: AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252
I've already tried renaming the NLS_LANG to NLS_LANG2, restarted the Oracle XE services and Livepage but still the same error. Now connecting to the database directly through my personal web apps or through the Oracle XS web admin is completely fine. The dbase is working fine.
