Hi ,
we have 9.2.0.1.0 client installed in windows box.
we have the 9.2.0.7.0 server in Linux box.
Since the export taken at client side fails with the error as follows
EXP-00003: no storage definition found for segment(6, 49)
I googled metalink and found that lower client version is used to take the export of the database of version greater than 9.2.0.5.0.
So we need to upgrade the client or to install higher version client.
where to get the higher version client software and how to proceed..?

yes..i found that the versions are different in my case with server 9.2.0.7.0 and client 9.2.0.1.0.
only if the versions are same and are above 9.2.0.4.0 , we could change catexp.sql.
In my case , the versions are diff.
So how to get rid of the issue..?

we need to use client of 9.2.0.1.0 to take the export of the database having version 9.2.0.7.0.
In that case , we need to have the higher version in the client side to do the job...
so how to get rid of the issue...?
