hello all

i have a table & I would like to hide the table from others even the DBA, so that it is only visible to me. is this possible in Oracle

You can hide the contents. Not the table.
Look into VPD (virtual Private database)/FGA(fine grained access)

Depends on how the DBA is defined here.
With SYS access, one can easily override your settings.

In normal circumstances, you don't even have to hide it from other users; unless you give them access to it, they won't even know it exists.

From the DBA? I think it isn't possible (unless you DROP the table).

As Littlefoot has already stated,
A DBA with Full privileges can easily Override whatever you do.

This article is little outdated, but the concept still holds good.
You may want to check with the newer versions.
