If anyone could give me some advice, i would appreciate it very much

every single time i try to login sqlplus "/ as sysdba", i get an error message:

ORA-01075: you are currently logged on

This is the only message I get


due to another error, i cant log in as a normal user but one problem at a time.

I am at a loss, i absolutely need to solve this

What is the problem? Are you trying to logon as sysdba? If so, then the message is telling you already are logged on. Try 'show user' to see who you're logged in as.

According to the Oracle Error manual it says;

ORA-01075: You are currently logged on
cause: An attempt was made to log on while already logged on.
action: No action requried.

try to execute any query and see what it says. If it is executed with out any error then you are ok.
