Hi all,

My system is using Oracle 8i. I would like to know the procedure to shut down and start up the database.

To shut down
1. lsnrctl stop
2. shutdown immediate

To start up
1. lsnrctl start
2. startup

Is there any extra procedure? Correct me if I'm on the wrong track. Thanks in advance.
