Dear All, I wish to know any better & faster way to migrate 500G data from 8i (Solaris 8 64bits) to 9ir2 (Solaris 9 64bits).

Depends on your data usage.
In most cases export/import will work, which is slow.
Else you have to go through DBUA
If you are concerned about downtime, look into Materialized views.

My input would be that after you get to 9i you should turn right around and go to 10gR2, effectively going straight from 8i to 10g.
