Hi ppl
We have production and standby servers for our database. The size of database is about 74 GB. For backup, we usually offline one of the mirror from our production server and take the coldbackup daily at night. This coldbackup is then restored on standy server. To sync the stadby database with the production database, the archivals are continuously sent via ftp from production database to the standby server and these are then applied to the standby database at regular intervals.
For the last few days, while applying archivals, the following messages are flashing on the server..
ORA-01547: warning: RECOVER succeeded but OPEN RESETLOGS would get error below
ORA-01194: file 1 needs more recovery to be consistent
ORA-01110: data file 1: '/csisdata01/FIN/system_01_FIN.dbf'
I applied more archivals on the database for recovery but still it is giving the same messages....
I am able to mount the database, but can't open it. During opening also, it is giving the same message......................
Any solution from u people........
