Hi Group,

I wan to create a new Oracle Instance (Database) on a Unix machine remotly.

Please help me how to go about it.
I have no Exp of Unix Env.

Please help me or let me know where can I get information about it.

Is OCA is avaliable on Unix env.

same as you do a locall installation.

if your local machine is windows use an emulator like Hummingbird.
If you local machine is unix/linux, nothing else needs to be done.
add the remote machine to local xhost.
in remote machine set your DISPLAY to localmachine.
install oracle.
create databases using DBCA.
and
REFER documentation ( oracle installation on unix), everyhting is given clearly.

Actually I have never worked on Unix machine.

Can you provide me the link to documentation where i can get information about this.

I will be needing ur and whole group support in this task
