hi everyboy
i tryed to install oracel 9i on windows 2000 Pro,P4 3.0GHz, PC.
i have jdk 1.5,jre 1.5.
when i run setup
it says unable to find jre in c:\docu~1\admin~\loca~1\temp\....\jre\bin\.
download and install jre 1.3 or later and reinstall.
help me to install.

I believe this was a problem with 9i on win2000. There are workarounds and or fixes that you can do to make it work (although I don't know what they are, maybe try searching metalink). Sorry to not be more help...but
If you install 10g on winxp it goes rather smoothly. Unless you are forced by some legacy system to install 9i, you should be planning for 10g anyway. Likewise on the win2000/winxp.
