Hello

I did a routine check on a Oracle server and noticed that there are 3 Oracle80.exe processes running resulting in high usage of CPU.

1. Will/does this have any effect/s on the application that is using Oracle?
2. It it OK to go ahead and kill 2 of the processes?

Many thanks for your help

Are you running Windows? If so, see how many OracleServiceSID services you have running. You could have multiple databases running on that machine. If you want to stop any of them, just select the service in the services menu, right click and stop it. You'll see that one of the Oracle.exe's has stopped.
