HI ,
I have installedd oracle 10g on my machine.
when i try to login it gives me error
ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
pls anybody tell what to do?

Hi,
two things might be happened .....
1.) the configuration in the listener.ora seems not okay.
==> check the configuration, try tnsping SID
2.) some ports are blocked which oracle try to use
==> reboot server or change Ports in listener / tnsnames.ora
