I hope someone can help as I am not familiar with Oracle dbs. I have one oracle database with 2 separate schemas (tablespaces). I want to know if its is possible that one tablespace can be shutdown whilst the other is still working. If so how can I check when it was shutdown or when it came back up.

Please advise.
