hi all.....
my database instance gets terminated automatically...
it is giving msg "instance getting terminated due to error no 472".
can any one gimme a clue wat is the problem / solution for this....

look into $ORACLE_BASE/admin/< your_sid >/bdump/alert_yoursid.log.
Post the complete set of error messages associated with
"instance getting terminated due to error no 472".
Post only the relevant information during the occurance of the event, along with your oracle version, OS etc.
