I have installed oracle server 9i under a sun solaris 8
so everything is ok, but when i restart my server and i try to connect by >sqlplus system/manager
i have those errors:
ora01034: oracle not available
ORA-27101 Shared memory realm
can you help me please because i am a newbie

Quite simple...
connect as sysdba
and startup the instance
then only you will be able to connect using System
