Hi,

�I have Oracle 8.1.7 for windows NT version. If i want to install it in a server running Windows 2003 server operating system and shift my entire database to this operating system, will there be any problem. Is Oracle 8i for windows NT is compatible with Windows 2003 server O.S. Please guide me.

I am currently attempting to install 8i on a Windows 2003 box, and it has not worked yet.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone was able to install the Oracle 8i v8.1.7 on windows 2003 server yet? Also, same goes for SQL Server 6.5 and 2000.

I need the same info I am also wanting to install Oracle 8i or 10 on my Window 2003 server...Please let me know on compatiablity....

nope, couldn't do the oracle9i(9.2.0.1) either on win2k3. any help is most welcome!

Installed 8i on 2003 and experieced issues with starting and stopping the services. Everything else seemed to work ok until that. Have not been able to work around. Did anyone else get anywhere?
