 Hi,

  Can i recover the database if I have the only the Current Control file, all the archived redo logs from the last cold backup & the cold backup.Remember i dont have any *.dbf files.

Hi,

I think u have enough to recover ur DB. If u have proper cold backup with u than u can simply restore (without controlfiles) that DB and after that u can apply the archive logs. But no gap should be there between ur cold backup and archive logs. It means either at the time of taking that cold backup ur DB should be in archive log mode or after taking it very next time ur DB should be up in archive log mode.
