Hello and thank you,
I am having a port problem. I have installed 9iAS and 9iDS on an XP machine. I can create, and compile a module but have a problem running it. Looked in listener files to find out which HTTP port, 8080 (don't ask, i have no idea how. i guess port 8888 was taken), I have changed preferences to port 8080 and get the usual IE cannot find website. I am a student and a novice with iDS. I have tried different ports, three from log file, 2100, 1521, and 8080 and none work, with 1521 it is listening but nothing happens. (I know I didn't describe the IE screen correctly, sorry). Any help is appreciated.

Are you installed thes products on differen ORACLE_HOME 's? Any product of Oracle must to be installed to different ORACLE_HOME.

Thank you, I totally forgot that's what my teacher said. But now, after reinstallation, I cannot run my program. It just hangs or I get "Webpage unavailable offline" screen in IE. Any Suggestions?
