I am using DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT.DES3ENCRYPT(...) in

Oracle 8172, I tested it and it works fine no problems, but I don't know if there any bugs or problems in using DES3ENCRYPT in Oracle 8172. I know it better in Oracle 9i.  I want know if there are any problems in using DES3ENCRYPT and DES3DECRYPT in Oracle817. please let me know if there are any, even little ones.
