I have downloaded the trail version of Oracle 9i for linux, to my hard disk, and I copied to 3 cds each zip file into 3 different cds. Now I want to install on Red Hat 8. are there any instructions on web that I can follow and Install oracle 9i. I dont know much about Linux or Unix, I Never Installed a Oracle server on Linux, or Unix. any help is appreciated.

Just tell me should i copy the zip file from cd-rom to my hard disk or not?

cpio -imv ship_9202_lnx_disk1.cpio.gz
