Hi folks,

Can anyone please help with the following...

When importing any dmp file I am getting the following errors...

IMP-00017: following statement failed with ORACLE error 4068:
"BEGIN SYS.DBMS_REPCAT_MIG.PRE_IMPORT; END;"
IMP-00003: ORACLE error 4068 encountered
ORA-04068: existing state of packages has been discarded
ORA-04063: package body "SYS.DBMS_REPCAT_MIG_INTERNAL" has errors
ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_REPCAT_MIG", line 95
ORA-06512: at line 1
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully

Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

are source and target databases of same version?

if so, run these scripts logged in as sys or internal
catrepr.sql,catrep.sql,utlrp.sql
and try again.

THank you for the tip!

Can you please explain what the scripts that you have mentioned actually do?

catrepr.sql - removes replication objects
catrep.sql - creates them
utlrp.sql - recompiles the invalid modules
