Guys,

Still I can't figure out how to configure the query editor to copy the column headers with the query results on to the clipboard?

Please help!

Right-click query output ("Data Grid" tab, probably). Choose "Export dataset ...". Choose desired export format (for example, "HTML Table" is nice for pasting into MS Word or MS Outlook). Set other options (if necessary). Click "OK".

Works fine for me.

What did you suddenly change?

[EDIT]

On MS Windows 7, when pasting HTML table output into Outlook mail message (using the right mouse click), I have three options:
- keep source formatting (K)
- merge formatting (M)
- keep text only (T)

The third option pastes HTML code.

Did you do something like that?

That's no more an Oracle problem, but your operating system's one. Does this help?

It seems that you'll have to learn Windows 7 a little bit better than now.

Though, what's wrong with right-click and choosing paste option you like the most?

No; standard "Print screen", cut with Paint.

To copy with headers: select all (grid), CTRL+INSERT (Toad), paste

Right! It seems to be working, although all formatting is lost (the result is pasted as "text only" - that would be the "A" option on my screenshot in a message #530062). But I guess that it is far better than having HTML code, isn't it?
